HOW YOU CAN HELP
Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding relies on tax deductible donations for a good part of its funding. Without money for program costs that cover sponsoring horses and equipment our program cannot exist. Your generous donation also allows Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding the opportunity to grow. We are actively seeking our own facility to manage and welcome serious inquiries about achieving that crucial goal. There are over 6,000 people nationwide on waiting lists for therapeutic riding programs. CTR is no different. The need is tremendous on so many levels. We invite you to make a donation and make a difference.
Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. Gifts and donations are tax-deductible in accordance with the Internal Revenue Code.
The Mill of Bel Air
Help Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding with every purchase at The Mill of Bel Air.
The Mill’s Club Program allows customers to specify a club that will receive credit for their purchases. This program is designed to give back to the groups whose members and supporters patronize The Mill.
The next time you are at The Mill, ask to become a member of Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding’s Club. When you make purchases at any Mill location, mention Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding and The Mill will donate 1% of all purchases into our Club account.

United Way
If you make an annual contribution to the United Way, you can direct all or part of the contribution to benefit Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding. The United Way distributes the funds to non-profit organizations recognized by the IRS. In 2008, federal employees will be able to direct their annual contributions as well.
