Volunteers are the backbone of any successful therapeutic riding program. Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding is no different. Our volunteers are appreciated and respected for their time, talents and expertise.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding, please download and complete the forms found in the box on the right side of this page.. All forms must be completed and returned in order to be scheduled for volunteer orientation.

Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding operates from a local boarding stable on Saturday mornings under the direction of Cathy Schmidt, Executive Director. At the request of the owners, please contact Cathy directly and in advance if you wish to visit the farm. Unannounced visitors cannot be accommodated at this time.

Our volunteer coordinator will contact you to schedule you for the next volunteer orientation and answer any questions you may have.
